Litago is a literary travel planner that transforms books into immersive city experiences. The app curates walking tours based on novels and their stories, allowing users to explore real-world locations through the lens of their favorite authors.

This project was developed as my Bachelor thesis in Graphic Design and Visual Communication, focusing on the intersection of literature, tourism, and UI and UX design.

The interface balances editorial aesthetics with practical navigation. A serif headline typeface references classic literature, while a clean sans-serif supports readability and structure. The visual identity combines deep blue tones with warm accents to evoke curiosity and discovery.

Key design principles included:

  • Clear information hierarchy

  • Strong typographic contrast

  • Accessible navigation patterns

  • Focused, distraction-free route guidance

The prototype was built with interactive flows to simulate real route progression, including active stops and contextual content.
